As another FUNdraising initiative, Susan and Dexter offered 5 people a 6 week block of training and their normal fee of £30 each was donated to the Dexters FUNdraiser.
This was held at Fit Therapy at Ski Rossendale where our normal weekly classes are held and has raised an additional £150 for Dexters FUNdraising.
After waking up in Narnia (a snowy Weir) Susan and Dexter worried that the weather would put people off. But showing true Northern grit, we had a great turnout with a full 15 places booked, 5 of which went to Dexters FUNdraiser.
In addition we sold TalkFirst Dictionaries, Little Dexters and TalkFirst CDs which raised extra money for the pot.
One of Dexters expert signing pals (Teddy Rouine) turned up fully kitted out for the weather in a bright yellow sou’wester and wellies. This stood him in great stead when Dexters bubble machine was in full flow. No-one needed a bath that night, but Dexter finished up very soggy!
Dexter can’t wait for his next FUNdraiser………..we have loads planned so keep in touch!
